I was born and raised in Los Gatos, CA with a love of animals evident from an early age. I attended Cal Poly San Luis Obispo in 1991 to earn my Animal Science degree. After that, I worked locally as a veterinary technician and in 2003 decided to further my education and become a veterinarian. I graduated from UC Davis School of Veterinary Medicine in 2007 with an interest in Equine Medicine. During vet school, I developed a strong interest in emergency medicine and endocrinology. After graduation, I joined Bailey Veterinary Clinic in Roseburg, Oregon. Baileys is a mixed animal practice that also provides emergency services. While at Bailey's I also developed an interest in small animal dentistry and surgery.

Outside of work, I enjoy hiking with our basset hounds, riding and competing with my horses in dressage, and gardening. We currently have two basset hounds and two Trakehner horses.

My husband and I met at Cal Poly and have always wanted to move back, and I am very excited for this opportunity to do so.
