Central Coast Pet Hospital and Emergency
Referring DVMs
At Central Coast Pet Emergency we are here for walk-in emergencies, direct referrals, and overnight care from your hospital.
We strive to care for emergency cases at all times, prevent interruptions in your general practice day-to-day operations, continue your patients’ care after-hours, and always serve our mutual patients and clients with the highest level of care and service we can provide. We intend to maintain close communication with the primary providers of our mutual patients and will continue to be conscientious of returning cases to them. Not only can we help your patients receive after-hours care, but also increase your practice’s day-to-day efficiency by minimizing interruptions.
You can feel confident that our emergency hospital has seasoned and compassionate emergency doctors and veterinary paraprofessional staff who can handle complex life-threatening situations. Our goal is to provide the highest level of service for emergency illnesses and injuries with a veterinarian on duty 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. If possible, please notify us prior to the patient’s arrival so that our emergency team can best prepare for the pet’s unique situation. This can save valuable time and allow our doctors to have more information before examining your patient. If the patient is being transferred from another facility, please instruct your clients to bring all prescribed medications, medical records, and copies of any previous diagnostic imaging that had been performed at your facility.
Our medical team will keep you informed of your patient’s treatment plans and we will promptly send all medical records. We value and appreciate your trust and we are here to serve you and your clients/patients.
